What changed

  • Replaced the stale README with a blunt description of what Zara actually is.
  • Documented the Prolog-first / LLM-second routing model.
  • Added the real CLI and Nix app surface, including the unimplemented --voice mode.
  • Documented dictation, wake mode, agent mode, TTS, configuration, current limitations, and repair rules.
  • Added the new context-management and Python/Prolog skill-file work tracked in #51.

Why

The previous README still described TTS as future work, omitted agent/memory/tool architecture, and read like an early prototype note rather than the current repository.

Documentation-only change. Cross-checked against the current master CLI, flake, config defaults, Python skill registry, recent commits, and repair roadmap.

Closing as stale rather than merging an old README snapshot over the current project. This branch predates the recent wake/runtime and Zarathushtra Pets work (#76–#80), so its documentation no longer represents current architecture. Desktop/Copilot documentation will be based on current master instead.
