Advances #29.

RED-first test-only head: 0c23c91ccba5d47019620a9a71f166f7f6e65034.

GREEN implementation head: ad779fca828d58bc35ed567adf164d756fdb0583.

This PR replaces draft #172 only because GitHub's ready-for-review GraphQL mutation is currently broken. It uses the identical already-tested head.
