Scope

Wrap vis-timeline behind a replaceable timeline adapter.
Support events, ranges, groups, uncertain intervals, selection, zoom, and bounded editing annotations.
Preserve source timestamps; timeline edits create explicit graph properties or view annotations rather than silently rewriting imported data.
Persist timeline viewport, grouping, filters, and active time range.

Acceptance criteria

Timeline selections publish stable identifiers.
Graph and table selections can focus matching timeline items.
Uncertain or partial dates have an explicit representation.
Dense fixtures remain interactive within a defined item budget.
Timeline state restores after refresh.
